Founded in 2000, KeyFort Ltd established itself as a trusted provider of business IT services, supporting organisations with reliable infrastructure, support, and consultancy.
Over more than two decades, we built a reputation for delivering dependable technology solutions and long-term partnerships. This foundation has been critical in enabling us to expand into more specialist areas of networking and connectivity.
A Shift Towards Modern Connectivity
In 2023, with new leadership in place, the business began to evolve in response to changing technology demands. Connectivity was no longer just part of IT—it became central to how businesses operate, how customers engage, and how services are delivered.
This shift drove a renewed focus on networking, infrastructure, and scalable connectivity solutions, creating the opportunity to expand beyond traditional managed IT services.
The Acquisition of Fusion Wi-Fi
In late 2024, we acquired Fusion Wi-Fi, a specialist provider of advanced Wi-Fi and connectivity solutions. This marked a significant milestone and a natural progression in our journey.
Fusion Wi-Fi brought deep expertise in public WiFi, event WiFi, and off-grid connectivity. This includes delivering wireless networks for town centres, high streets, and public spaces, as well as temporary high-density event environments and locations where traditional fibre connectivity is not available.
By combining this specialist knowledge with our existing infrastructure and support capabilities, we created a more complete and powerful offering for clients.
Integration and a Unified Approach
Throughout 2025, we focused on integrating Fusion Wi-Fi with our existing business, aligning services, and building a clear strategy for the future.
This integration allows us to design, deploy, and support Wi-Fi and connectivity solutions end-to-end. From initial surveys and network design through to installation, monitoring, and ongoing management, clients benefit from a fully managed service.
Fusion Wi-Fi continues to operate as a specialist brand, focused on delivering high-performance wireless networks while benefiting from the wider capabilities of the Fusion group.
2026: A Unified Fusion Brand
In 2026, KeyFort Ltd officially rebrands to Fusion Tech, bringing both businesses together under a single, unified Fusion identity.
For Fusion Wi-Fi, this strengthens our position as a leading provider of public Wi-Fi, event connectivity, and off-grid network solutions. It reinforces our ability to deliver reliable, scalable connectivity across a wide range of environments.
